It is necessary to flourish and promote the development of education if we are to have a nice valuable and personal growth.
Thinking of these above I feel lucky. I became a teacher 39 years ago when I was 17 years old and my kids gave me “小提切”，meaning little teacher,as a nickname. I found the Chinese pinyin ,xiao ti qie, were clearly marked under the English words . As a teacher, I know I am not the future but my teaching career is!!! Come On, Yan. Come On, William. Come On, Baozhu. (William, my English name; 宝柱my once-used name.)
How time flies! I have seen so many students off after they finished their Junior, Senior. Likai or Pengdu students, 93-3, 96-9, 98-2, OCU-1(Oxford and Cambridge Universities)... Miss all of you all!!!
It was yesterday that I was awarded the prize for excellence of teaching for 39 years. A bunch of fresh flowers was given to me of course. But the very impressive moment was that Mayor Wu Xiaohua of Hengshui presented me a gold metal. It is an honour that I dreamed not of. The only thing that I could do is try harder and devote all to my students.
Teachers’ love is a drop of sweet manna that can wake up a withered flower. Teachers’ love is a warm spring breeze that leaves scent in real life. Teachers’ love is encouraging and it keeps you moving upward. Teachers’ love is silent but they smile whenever you make progress.
Can I do the above? Yes, I can. Definitely I can.
